The views to this place are beautiful. The seating area in over the road from the pub itself with about 4 picnic tables.Service back at the very messy, full of empty glasses and plates bar, was slow. Prices are not cheap even though there is not much choice. The staff were pleasant, but they were obviously busy with a new screaming baby!!The menu again was not cheap but the food we had was lovely. The views make this place, but it's not for a cheap or average costed meal.Thank you for taking the time to write a review. However I must say this review has left me baffled. I think there are a few things to address is this review. The outside seating for the Inn consists of benches in our front garden across the road. We also have a beautiful terrace to the side of the Inn with further seating overlooking the Loch. The terrace is sign posted. Our team take great pride in where they work and allmaintain extremely high standards of cleanliness at all times. We are in the midsts of the summer season and we tend to be very busy with drinkers throughout the day due to the wonderful views you mention in your review. However glasses and plates are never left lingering unnecessarily. In regards to our drinks choices, please see below a list of our drinks: Soft: Coke / Diet Coke / irn bru / diet irn bru / lemonade / orange juice / tonic Mediterranean/ tonic regular/ san pelligrino orange/ san pelligrino lemon/ soda water/ ginger beer/ cawstons rhubarb and apple / cawstons ginger / appletiser/ elderflower cordial Wine: 28Champagne: 2Prosecco: 1Gin: 8. 7 (of which are Scottish) Vodka: 2Rum: 3 Larger on tap: 2Bitter on tap: 1Cider on tap: 1Pale ale(bottle): 1Larger (bottle): 1Cider (bottle): 1Whisky: 17 We also offer a plethora of different teas ranging from vanilla roibos to green tea, including mint tea with mint from our own garden. In regards to coffee, any of the usual cappuccino, latte, espresso, Americano etc etc are all on offer. Our hot chocolate is also a favourite with an optional (free) extra of whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. To round off our drinks list we have a select number of cocktails available including: Old Fashioned, Mojito, Espresso Martini. In regards to our prices, this is an interesting one. It is fair to say we are not the cheapest option available, however we are not trying to be the cheapest. We select our products carefully and as locally as possible. This means we often buy our products from small producers who do not produce in large quantities, therefore the price is increased slightly. For us, this is worth paying a bit more. We know where our products are from and how it was grown/reared. Finally, in regards to the ‘screaming baby’ none of our staff members have children. I myself, do have a five month old, however I am currently on maternity leave and am not in service. I must say he is a very happy baby and if on the occasions he decides to play up luckily I live on site and am able to take him to our apartment. In regards to staff being busy with the baby, I can only imagine you are referring to myself, and in this respect I don’t find being a mother has hindered my ability to run a successful country Inn. I do agree with you however regarding the views. They are magical. They are further complimented by the hard working team that make our customers experience worth while. If you would like to discuss any of the issues you have raised above further, please do not hesitate to contact me on [email protected] regards Alice Campbell-Calliva
