This used to be are absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in the Valley. Apparently, they have changed owners or at least the same people aren't there cooking anymore. We've noticed a lot of changes. The food is now just average Chinese takeout instead of the superb cuisine it used to be.
2. China House

When we are in the mood for Chinese, we call China House. You can eat in their restaurant which is small but they also offer carry out/delivery. We have ordered several items from their menu and the food is always great. The sesame chicken and General Tso's chicken is very good. The price is in line for what you get. They accept debit/credit cards for payment and they have a parking lot.

Have eaten here several times. Small buffet with several items that are tasty. Depending on when you come in, items can be sparse. I have not don it, but I have heard people ask for empty items to be filled. Price is reasonable for what they serve. Only Chinese buffet that I know about in Staunton.

This could be one of the most hidden gems in the Valley. Located in the Food Lion Shopping Center in Fishersville, it is managed by a very wonderful couple. The food is excellent and you get good portions. The dining atmosphere leaves plenty of space to spread out and it is always clean. The service is exceptional and very, very friendly. The next time you come through the doors the couple will probably know your name. If you like Chinese-American food, you'll love this place!
