The Home of Cashew Chicken is exactly as I remember it from 40 years ago. Still yummy and delightful. Service was excellent, and I cannot wait to go again when next in Springfield. Highly recommend!

Family owned and operated Chinese restaurant in Springfield, Missouri for over 30 years.
Went to college and worked at BPS here, so I dined here when I was hungry and budget tight. Was in the neighborhood after 15 years and needed a quick lunch. Literally, nothing has changed. Sitting area, menu show the age. Still have ceiling fans that don't work, so the place is a sauna. Guess that's the key to turning tables fast!Egg roll is a cabbage roll, nothing really else. But the value cashew chicken plate can't be beat! Ask for hot sauce and get a great chille paste to kick the dish up.

Wanted a Chinese meal and was tired of the same old places to tried this place. At first it appeared to be a pick up and delivery restaurant but we went in anyhow. There was inside seating. The menu was about what you would expect. But, their crab Rangoon was truly the best I have ever eaten! Fried up perfectly and chicken full of flavorful goodies.

I was pleasantly surprised with the wide selection of choices. It was a busy dinner service and dishes were being constantly refilled. The Mongolian Grill cook did an excellent job preparing my selection of shrimp and vegetables. The buffet had exceptional Coconut shrimp, spicy General Tso's chicken, and really good egg rolls and soups. The only negative is their fried rice is kept in a rice cooker to the right of the Grill window. It's next to the white rice cooker, and several diners were wandering around looking for the fried rice. I would eat here regularly if I lived nearby. It was a great meal.
