I went to this place as a result of the high Trip Advisor Rating. I ordered a lunch special. I have been on a search to find good Egg Drop Soup and this was like all the others--flavorless. Seems take-outs don't use real chicken broth anymore. Shrimp egg roll was average--nothing special. Most disappointing was the entree I ordered which was chinese vegetables (not steamed) with some tofu. It tasted fine but the dish was filled 2/3 with rice and only 1/3 with the entree. And no crunchy noodles were included. It's also a cash only place. I won't be going back.

1 appetizer arrived completely inedible, covered in salt. Ok, mistakes happen. They forgot to send duck sauce for the egg rolls, okay, we can eat them at another time when we pick up duck sauce at the store. In the bag was a small plastic container with dried ketchup in it and the cap stuck inside..there was no ketchup spilled in the bag so this was obviously someone else's garbage. When I called to ask for the manager a rude and nasty girl named Christina laughingly told me he would be back later. When I asked if she knew when she said yeah..later. I asked his name and she laughed again and said Shlomie. Okay, what is your name..laughs again, Christina, Do you know when "later" is, a time? Yes Christina said..LATER. So I see this man Shomie could care less about his restaurant, staff or customers so to Shlomie and Mandarin restaurant it is my turn to say LATER!

Came for lunch during the week and the place was moderately busy, but quiet enough for a conversation. Lots of take out business !.The lunch menu has something for everyone and includes an eggroll, soup or soda with the meal. My chicken w/broccoli was good but the broccoli a bit aldente for me. My hubby's pork lo mein was delicious and our friend's pork w/chinese vegetables and shrimp in garlic sauce brought no complaints. The fried rice with the meal was a bit dry. All in all there shoud be a good rating as it is above average and the service was fast and lunch for four was approx. $40
