Jade Bistro is an elegant, yet affordable dining spot offering interesting asian cuisine, including sushi and Thai dishes, along with more common chinese fare. I had really tasty seaweed salad and the sizzling chicken thai platter. My dining companion had the chicken teriyaki. We split an order of dumplings, which I thought were great. I wasn't allowed to taste the spring roll, which reportedly is the best ever. All in all, a nice meal at a fair price. The restaurant seemed to be hosting a lot of parties while we were there, attesting to the appropriateness of the place for special occasions.
Where to eat Cafe food in Scotia: The Best Restaurants and Bars
My husband and I had an incredible assortment of food here last night: both hot-and-sour and wonton soup; barbecued boneless spareribs; salt-and-pepper squid; a scallop-and-lobster dish and a plate full of fried pork and tofu. It was all delicious. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

This is my favorite Chinese take-out for hot and sour soup. Excellent flavor, and spiced nice and hot. Great for wintertime eating to warm the body. Egg rolls are also excellent. Price is cheap, take out is quick, location easy to get to.

This new restaurant features Hunan, Szechuan and Cantonese cuisines. There was only 1 person in when we arrived at about 5.30 on Sat evening. We started with Hot and Sour soup, which came pretty quickly while we were still deciding on Entrees. Not one of the best Hot and Sours that we have had and the Crispy Noodles served with it were soft, so not a good start! My wife ordered Singapore Noodles, which she said was really nice as it did not have an overpowering curry flavor that this dish usually has. I chose Tiger Pork, "TenderSliced Pork, Deep Fried crispy, covered with hot spicy sauce and pea pods". Never seen this on any menu before so here goes. Deliciously different, it was unusually crispy without being dry and chewy. $32 less a 20% discount to encourage us to go back, we would have anyway but maybe next time we will skip the soup.
