We like Rising Sun sweet n sour chicken, pork, egg rolls and pork fried rice! We do find it inconsistent though. Sometimes it's really good and other times its just ok! I guess it depends who's cooking!

My family and I live in Joliet and drive past about 4 other Chinese restaurants on our way to get dinner from her. Every item is made in the restaurant, from the dumplings to the lo mein and soups. We have never gotten bad service or food and your order is almost always ready in 15 minutes or less. Even though when you walk inside the menu bored is dated and so is the decor and the only reason to really stay and eat is if you are taking advantage of the lunch specials when it is just you or you and a friend. Don't let it scare you it is very clean in the kitchen and the food is the BEST Chinese in the area.

Finally tried this place (the fourth) Chinese restaurant in town.. I Love that they deliver, and you can do your entire order online.. They offer Meals which consist of your choice of a main dish, then you get an egg roll and chicken fried rice.. We ordered Mongolian Shrimp and Sweet and sour Pork. Itâs kind of different not having regular rice to put your food on top of.. They give you Huge portions of your main dish, and the chicken fried rice.. everything was Really good. The egg rolls are smaller than what weâve got at other places, and not quite as good.. We also had Crab Rangoon, they were Huge, the biggest ones Iâve ever seen. Iâm sure we will try this place again..
