Grand Haven is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan and the county seat of Ottawa County. Grand Haven is located on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Grand River, for which it is named. As of the 2010 census, Grand Haven had a population of 10,412. It is part of the Grand Rapids Metropolitan Area, which had a population of 1,027,703 in 2014. The city is home to the Grand Haven Memorial Airpark (3GM) and is located just north of Grand Haven Charter Township.

We ordered take out recently and tried a variety of dishes. Overall I thought everything was just kind of bland and not especially flavorful. The beef dishes were definitely better than the chicken. I wasn't especially impressed. I also didn't love the crab ragoons. The we've very crunchy and I thought they were too filled and overpoweringly cream cheesy. Given the other reviews, I was expecting more.

I have lived in several cities, including some larger metropolitan areas. I have spent a couple of weeks in China eating at some of the finer restaurants there. There is no place I prefer over Dragon Express in Grand Haven. In the 12 years we have lived here, this has been a weekly destination. The steamed dumplings are terrific, and the garlic chicken is my favorite entree. The fried rice and lo mein are both incredible. The prices are reasonable given the quality of food served. I would say this is one of the hidden gems in West Michigan, but it always seems busy, so our community definitely appreciates it. If you are passing through on 31, it is conveniently located just east of 31 on Robbins road.

Food was cooked fresh to order and tasty. The crab Rangoon rather than the typical spring roll was a nice touch. The only down side was the serving size was smaller than we are used to @ comparable establishments.

We live down the street and were turned off by the outward appearance of this restaurant. It is in a strip mall and looks like yet another Chinese buffet. Wow, were we wrong! The sushi was gigantic and delicious and the fried rice was the best we have ever eaten. Also, the Pad Thai is the most amazing thing I have ever eaten. We will go back again and again. The chef is an artist.
