Fort Bragg, North Carolina is a military installation of the United States Army and is the largest military installation in the world (by population) with more than 50,000 active duty personnel. The installation is located within Cumberland, Hoke, Harnett, and Moore counties. The installation borders the towns of Fayetteville, Spring Lake, and Southern Pines. It was also a census-designated place in the 2000 census, during which a residential population of 29,183 was identified. It is named for Confederate General Braxton Bragg. It covers over 251 square miles (650 km). It is the home of the Army's XVIII Airborne Corps and is the headquarters of the United States Army Special Operations Command, which oversees the U.S. Army 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) (Provisional) and 75th Ranger Regiment. It is also home to the U.S. Army Forces Command, U.S. Army Reserve Command, and Womack Army Medical Center. Fort Bragg maintains two airfields: Pope Field, where the United States Air Force stations global airlift and special operations assets as well as the Air Force Combat Control School, and Simmons Army Airfield, where Army aviation units support the needs of airborne and special operations forces on post.

This is a great place to find you favorite Thai or Chinese food. The service is always friendly and attentive to recommend meals your desired tastes. The buffet is alway a good choice for lunch. We have been many times and is one of our main choices to eat out in Spring Lake.

Best sushi I've had in quite some time. I recommend the Chef's special. Eel, avacado and crab, a perfect balance of flavors and not all that fishy (if you don't like the really fishy ones). I also had the salmon. It was all very good. Will definitely be going back!

I stopped in on a rainy Sunday to pick up take-out from this location and wasn't totally disappointed. I ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan which was nice and hot and offered at a smaller portion size which I appreciated. While the establishment offers no MSG, I found the food to be somewhat less flavorful than expected and the eggrolls and spring rolls to be overly greasy. The staff is kind and accommodating but I believe there are better take-out Asian places to be found...

Okay, we get it. Take-out places abound and as an American, we love our Americanized Asian food. I had doubts about this place since it was in a strip mall next to a busy Walmart and without lots of customers when I would take notice. I decided to bring something home over the weekend and give this place a try. It is truly outstanding. The owners are often seated in the small dining area eating their own creations and although they speak in another language, they quickly take your order and produce what you've requested. I ordered steamed dumplings, egg drop soup and shrimp with cashews and was overly pleased at how wonderful the items were. Not only was it produced quickly, it survived my 15 minute commute home and was still too hot to enjoy after plating it in my own kitchen. The soup was predictable but not overly greasy, the steamed dumplings make my mouth water just typing about them and the shrimp with cashews was predictably good. Even though I ordered the smaller amount, there was amply left-over for another meal. Peking Wok is a typical Asian take-out joint but the food is much better than average. I highly recommend. Especially to Fort Bragg residents who reside on the northeast side of the base or in Spring Lake. Looking forward to my next take-out!
