Mid afternoon lunch, greeting by two very nice young ladies both smiling and professional. Tables occupied but not a waiting line seated right away. Waiter was happy and helpful. We had a Dim Sum Sampler and Bento lunch choice of three differnt items. All the food was served eye appeal and was just as good when we ate it. Nice atmosphere while dining, however would reccomend they take down the food stained white curtains and wash them or replace them every so often, toooo many stains for my liking. Would I go back for the food yes

This is my 2nd visit. I remember enjoying the food & service the 1st time. This time the air conditioning was at best functioning poorly. We started off with Dan Dan noodles that on the menu had a 'heat' rating of 6 on a scale of 1-10. After my 1st bite I needed to call the Fire Dept. I mentioned this to our waiter & he replied that the 'heat' rating is incorrect; as it should be a "9." The test was great but I couldn't handle the 'heat.' Next we ate our shrimp dish with garlic sauce. It was rated a 6. The taste was very good. Our last dish was chicken rated a 3. It was on the bland side. Service was friendly but inattentive. We won't return until at least Sept. when the weather temp. cools off.

We ordered a variety of dumplings which were all made with a good filling to skin ratio, authentic taste and cooked very well. Reasonably priced. Convenient location. 5* It is a popular place. Often a line up. The atmosphere lowers my rating. People donât linger, the seats are hard and it is dark inside, so cleanliness is less questionable, but sticky tables gives it away.

Three of us went to Penang for dinner. We started with steamed dumplings both vegetable and chicken. They were excellent. Next chicken and beef satay and they were even better. We could have stopped there but ordered noodle dishes as well. Flat noodles with Basel was very good. Singapore style was ok but we have had much better. Overall. The service was slow they may be short handed. We recommend the appetizers over the noodles.
