Great little restaurant that has been an institution in Brighton for years. Never has the standard dropped with food or service. Has a function room upstairs that is perfect for small medium parties etc. Their lunch special is excellent value and delicious. Canât go wrong here.

We arrived one day last week shortly after 6pm and were the only customers there.Obviously not a busy time, so the poor reception and lack of welcome we received from the older lady who seemed to be in charge was especially disappointing. And the food? Average at best with expensive price tags.Quaint building and OK location (although parking can be difficult). But for us, a warm welcome, a smile, nice food and a fair price are not negotiables. We didnât get much of any of those here.

A small, atmospheric restaurant serving top quality food. One can leave here with an expensive Bill, however in our group of 8 we ordered two Entrees to share, four Mains to share with a large bowl of special rice plus a large bowl of vegetables and nothing more was needed....apart from a delightful Alto Aldige white from the north of Italy and a Paringa Peninsula pinot. My companion thought that the Bill was reasonable for such fine dining.

We love coming to a place that delivered the freshest Cantonese food in a pleasant local setting at a reasonable price. The chilli prawns were fat and luscious, the scallops cooked to perfection and a salt calamari crunchy and dry. Wonderful with a side order of Chinese broccoli.
