Taste of Sichuan Beaverton serves authentic Szechuan style Chinese food. It was established in September 2011. It features live seafood, a chance to observe the dumpling and noodle making process and a wide menu which offers both familiar staples as well
It is so difficult to find really good authentic Chinese food in Portland. Though I prefer Cantonese Chinese food, this restaurant is good for Sichuan food. Eating in is definitely better as the portions are bigger, food is hot and overall taste is delicious. I usually like to get takeout though because I don't always have time to wait for a table of 5. It is also more difficult to get someone on the phone to take down the takeout order unless calling during unpopular dinner hours. But overall, there is no other place I want to go to for quick Chinese food. Lots of variety.

China Delight is one of our long standing favorite restaurants in the Portland area. Now that we no longer live in Oregon, we only get there about once a year. So, it is reassuring to go back and find that the menu has not changed and that the food is still excellent. The owner is Bruce, a real character in a good way, and he is still there running the show. He has the best things, the things you wont find on a normal Chinese restaurant menu, marked as chef's specials. We had the pepper beef and the honey walnut chicken...what a treat. the orange peel chicken is also not to be missed. The restaurant is a little out of the way, across the street from Jesuit High School in Hillsdale. But it is absolutely worth the effort to penetrate West Portland to find this gem of a Chinese restaurant.
Where to eat Diner food in Beaverton: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I've been frequenting this restaurant for decades. Family owned and operated, it has a small diner feel and fantastic food. Prompt service for sit down or take out. They speak English, Chinese and Korean. There is a small room off to one side you can reserve for small parties. (We've had 20-30 people in there comfortably). Friendly owner, servers are hit and miss. not sure if it's the language barrier or personalities. Full bar. Call ahead for whole fish dishes and duck. It doesn't disappoint.

This spot was highly recommended and did not disappoint. Parking was easy, but we arrived after the noon hour rush. The restaurant is spacious. The dim sum trolley was prompt and well stocked. The baked pork buns were delightful in appearance and delicious. My favorite dish from the kitchen was the Bourbon Chicken ringed with broccoli. This was our first experience at a dim sum restaurant. We have found a new favorite!
