Reviews on Caucasian food in Yaroslavl, Yaroslavl Oblast, Russia. Bordered by the Kotorosl and Volga rivers, the historic city center of Yaroslavl is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The religious architecture is breathtaking and surreal, especially the emerald-domed Church of Elijah the Prophet and the gilded towers of the Assumption Cathedral. Numerous theaters, a philharmonic, a planetarium and a permanent circus round out the city’s art scene. Keep an eye on the time: Every hour on the hour, the proud namesake of the Monument to Bear statue gives a triumphant roar.

Do not miss this place! The ambiance is wonderful (we dined in the outdoor seating, but the interior of the restaurant was also clean and had a great atmosphere). The food is from the middle eastern regions of former soviet states such as Uzbek and Georgian. The food is not only delicious, but the portions are quite generous as well! We had a variety of sashliki (grilled meat on a skewer), some khochapouri (a flaky pastry filled with cheeses) and some Khinkali (steamed dumplings filled with spiced meat), as well as Dolmas (stuffed grape leaves). everything was delicious, and although the lamb version of the sashlik was a little bit dry, the others were excellent. The khochapouri was absolutely incredible. My wife and mother in law also got some deserts that they enjoyed (and were presented beautifully)Also, our server was extremely friendly and helpful to me (my russian is not so good).I HIGHLY recommend this place and look forward to going back another time.Hello,Dear guest, thanks for visiting our restaurant and for taking time for feedback, which is very important to us. All your comments help us to improve and provide better service for our guests. Weâll be happy to see you again.

I tried Khychin but they have a good menu of Georgian cuisine, and I could find Khevsuruli beer which I've missed. Staff are really nice too

We came here regularly for the excellent Caucasian business lunch. You can get so much food on a really small budget and it's always really tasty.
