Got the lobster tails for two here, thinking that it might be enough and I couldn't finish it. Maybe I have been spoiled, but I honestly didn't care for the flavor of the lobster here. The staff were very kind and helpful and Theo (the dog) is super cute.
I don't like to equate money with quality when it comes to food but I was definitely expecting better for the price. Overall it is an expensive island but this is a meal that cut corners. Taste and presentation was good on the ceviche, and the prawn entree was pleasant. What I find unforgivable for the high price was mixed frozen veg as the side or shoe string fries. The dessert crepe was also weak and I am.prerty sure it was filled with fruit cocktail. Not a horrible dinner but definitely not worth $30 eachDear sirPlease remember that the main dish includes 2 sides; Vegetables (bought in panama in the "Mercado de abasto" and French fries OR patacones OR yuca frita.I really apologize if you did not enjoy our crepe. Maybe the chef mistake but I can also tell you that some guest just come back for this desert. This crepe is refiled with fresh fruits: pineapple. papaya and also some frozen berry. But NO cocktail fruit.Any way, you are very welcome to come back and to be my personal guest.Henri

If judging on breakfast alone then this was very good. Nice fresh fruit, great french toast, good coffee and juice. A good omelette. With a beautiful ocean view. $12 a person for outside guests. Included if staying at the hotel which we were. Service also very good.Sadly not a good experience for dinner. We had to send back our fish as it was under cooked. Fish should flake but the cooked parts were tough and the centre was cold and still translucent. Fish was also a very small portion with a mound of rice. It didn't seem fresh either. The waiter did apologise and offered to cook 2 new plates but unfortunately we'd been put off...$23 a plate we expected much more. We just opted to share a Greek salad and an appetizer of spicy prawns. These were ok. Cost around $34 including 2 beers. Perhaps we caught them on a bad night?
One hundred metres further in the paved road from The Landing at Galeon Beach across from The Medical Clinic is The shady Fantasia. We stopped in for ice creams, a welcome activity on The low thirties, hot and dry temperature day. It was low season in November, hours are not posted.
