This is a small café with tables that are crammed in so that they can seat as many as possible. The food is a little more gourmet than your average diner, which is refreshing, averaging about $10 per dish. The hot chocolate actually has real chocolate, not the watery stuff served almost everywhere. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is very laid back chic.I have been here a few times. I didn't have a bad experience in my most recent visit but there was room for improvement. They were substituting the baguette in the breakfast sandwich for toast which does alter presentation and flavor profile and was not mentioned at time of order. They were very busy and, it seemed, a little frazzled. Wait times for seating were being announced as 30 min to an hour to arriving patrons and after being there for a while we realized the reality was closer to 10 min to 25 min. Most patrons decided to wait it out which was lucky for them. The other choice was to order for take-home which some opted to do but most come for the experience. Some people did leave without ordering. There are outdoor tables and it had rained the day before. Despite the forecast, it wasn't raining so I couldn't understand why they wouldn't use them.Overall, this place is a nice treat but try to arrive early or after the mid-morning Saturday crowd! I can't speak for regular weekdays since I've never been.

We do like the Bellefonte Café. I love that they have music several nights a week. I also like their menu choices which are very different than any other place we go to. However during my most recent visit, ordered a salad and asked for feta cheese to be substituted over the goat cheese that originally comes on the salad. When I received my salad I could tell, without tasting, that it had goat cheese on it. The smell and texture of goat cheese is much different than feta cheese. I made a comment to our bartender/server and he assured me it was feta cheese. Ok so to humor him I tasted it, absolutely not feta it was goat cheese. After "arguing" a couple of times over it with me being persistent that it was not feta but goat cheese, I was finally offered a replacement salad or something else of the menu. I choose not to get anything else as I was so put off by the lack of customer service. As you can see by any of my multiple reviews, it's not that an issue occurred but how it was handled. Yes, I plan on going back there because this may have been just an isolated incident. If this were my first time going, I would definitely not return based on Saturday's experience. My note to management is to please inform your staff that yes, the customer is always right (even if they're not) but in my case I was 100% right about them putting the wrong cheese on my salad.I agree that this was not handled well. I will have a talk with our staff, including the kitchen. Getting orders correct is important and being reluctant to correct things in inexcusable. Thank you for letting me know.

Maiale has been making outstanding sausages and ground meats for years now. Their old storefront was a bit of a challenge with a small parking lot and difficult entrance off of Lancaster Ave. I have relied on their presence at local farmersâ markets to indulge my cravings. Now that Maiale has relocated to this odd little strip mall further west on Lancaster, there is now a compelling reason not only to shop for their specialty products, but to stay a while in their spacious dining room. Itâs only open for breakfast and lunch, and you can get carry out for dinner since they close at 6. There is a casual vibe here, and seems to be popular with kids from neighboring Wilmington Charter/Cab Calloway. With such high quality preparation, Iâm a little surprised Maiale does not offer a dinner menu. I know Iâve made some fabulous meals at home with their products.

As former spice merchants, we learned how to use seasonings from around the world to create unique and crave-worthy flavors. With kitchen-door access to hundreds of restaurants, we soon realized that really good soup was hard to find. So, we set out to tr
A large group of us often goes to Zoup! after church. We are always accommodated and rearrange the dining room tables as needed. The manager ALWAYS comes over to check on us, even removing trays/dishes if needed. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and for a chain restaurant, we always find it to be terrific.Periodically, you can also get a loyalty card and after so many punches, you get free food. Just did!Hi, Chris: We'd first like to thank you for choosing Zoup! as your after church lunch location. We're glad to know you all enjoy the Zoup! experience and the team takes great care of you during your visit. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
