This place is a great favourite of mine and we have just completed our sixth visit in seven years.It is a Gasthof with attached restaurant open to non residents and in reality should be merged for clarity with the "English" reviews on here.https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g1187115-d3250148-Reviews-or5-Hotel_Alpenrose-San_Valentino_alla_Muta_Province_of_South_Tyrol_Trentino_Alto_A.htmlThe Dinner menu for residents is chosen at Breakfast from a short list and works well. Dishes are well presented and cooked fresh are are mainly representative dishes from the area. There is a comprehensive wine list as well as an a la carte menu if you prefer.Service is supervised by boss man Hans Peter and is always friendly. He never seems rushed and has time for a chat.Rooms are very clean with a balcony and comfortable beds. We always ask for 'our room' #8 and so far it is always ready for us.Two flights of stairs but worth it.We shall be back again next year.Pictures are worth a thousand words. Enjoy.

Locale accogliente con ampia vetrata e vista sulla valle, ampia scelta di dolci tra cui un ottimo strudel con panna montata al momento e svariate torte.Il locale è specializzato anche in coppe gelato con frutta fresca.Abbastanza rapido il servizio, unica pecca non accettano le carte.

We have come here for many years in a row. The Restaurant itself is simple but the Pizza's and rhe other food are, more than, good. That is what we come for, rhe food not the ambiance. Irene is visited by local Italiaans, which says enough about the quality of the food. If it was not good they would'nt come here. The Tiramisu (dessert) is wonderful. We will keep eating here every time we spend our holidays in Nauders!

.... ist die Berghütte Einkehrschwung unterhalb der Bergstation der Gondel, sogar Tische können reserveirt werden.Absolut empfehlenswert sind die hausgemachten Getränke und Speisen, dafür dauert es halt ein wenig.Aber im Stüberl oder auf der gemütlichen Sonnenterrasse hält man es gerne aus.
