On our way home from Cape Town we stopped here on Sunday afternoon for a milkshake - oooh boy!! The most amazing milk shakes ever!! They have unbelievable options like pecan nut choc and millionares short bread flavour and many more - we tried the first two and were they awesome!! Service is friendly and efficient and the place is clean and neat.And then we bought a huge freshly baked loaf of bread and meat pies to take home - they are not cheap but this has to be the best baked goods we've had in a long time, anywhere! Those pies beat anyone I've had before.... A place well worth stopping at!

Historic jail from 1838 gives a unique setting in a small town in South Africa. Sit outside under the avo trees and enjoy the historic landscape, crafts, art, antiques and gifts on display. Don't forget to try the (inter)nationally renowned carrot cake.

Wow - how often does one get to visit a jail, but see nobody behind bars. This gorgeous old Prison, rich in history, has been fabulously converted into retail space that offers a huge variety of eclectic antiques and crafts, and highly qualified Healer covering all kinds of modalities, as well as a stunning coffee shop / Restaurant in the shade of huge Avocado and Quince trees. Service is excellent, food is great, and all in all a super experience and a must see when visiting the beautiful town of Riversdale.

So me and my girlfriend had the privilege of visiting this amazing restaurant in Riversdale. We experienced a lovely warm welcome by the staff with impeccable service that will leave you hungry and thirsty for more. We were treated like royals, but the service is not all that was great about this place, the scent of fresh farm air with the sight of the morning sunrise is really a priceless feature and makes you feel right at home. The food 10/10, the drinks 10/10, the company 10/10 and the surroundings, well you'll have to see for yourself, cause I know you won't believe me till you've seen it yourself. We will definitely return to this little piece of heaven. Thank you for an unforgettable experiance!

The interior is beautiful, the service friendly and efficient, the coffee was awesome and the buttermilk pancakes were light, fluffy and absolutely delicious. Loved that the kids of an outside table had an opportunity to play in the garden with wooden blocks. Old School with Flair!!! Will be back.Thanks Ursula, hope to see you soon.
