Da Tarquinio

Da Tarquinio Italian Bistro you can find the true and traditional Italian environment. All our products are imported from Italy and everything is cooked according to the original Italian receipt.

Rainy evening in Vaclavske Namesti. We would like to dine in the Turkish restaurant just next Tarquinio but it’s completely full and we don’t have a reservation. We’re a bit disappointed but it’s our mistake. We decide to enter Tarquinio. We immediately hear the owner, he’s from Rome and realize of a friendly atmosphere. We order pizza (they make it pinsa here, after an ancient Roman recipe): all the three of us were amazed, we didn’t expect to eat like in Rome in one of the busiest and most touristic spots in Prague. We end with a delicious home-made ice-cream, among the plenty of Italian desserts available. Definitely advisable if you’re in Prague and you like authentic Italian food.

I went to this Cafe based purely on TripAdvisor reviews and it did not disappoint! In a colorful Art Nouveau neighborhood in Zizkov, this is a great cafe if you are in the area or close enough to take a tram or metro. Very tasty dishes not only during breakfast hours but their lunch specials are excellent! Coffee and Chai Latte was also really good and their staff always offers outstanding friendly service!Really nice to hear that we met your expectations. Hope to see you once again! Thank you :)

The area around Charles Bridge is heaving, even out of season, and there are many tourist traps surrounding it. Roesels was the perfect spot to escape the crowds and relax on the way to Prague Castle. The food and drink is excellent (great prices too) and the staff were very helpful. A little Czech goes a long way here. I would advise grabbing a seat in the courtyard and admire the view! Highly recommend especially the soup.

We found this place through TA and it didn’t disappoint, whilst we had to wait for a table (you can’t reserve) the wait is very much worth it. It’s ideally placed between the old town and the new town. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious, the chicken waffles are great but the French toast was delicious. Their coffee and juices were also well worth it and good value for money IMO. We ended up coming there everyday we were in Prague it was that good. Would thoroughly recommend it! Thank you very much for your words! This is the reason we do what we do, it makes us so happy to read that you felt right with us that you kept coming back. THANK YOU!
