The food is made fresh and is very flavorful. The staff and waitress/waiters are very nice. Brennan is funny as well as a great waiter. Only downfall is inside seating limitations for larger groups (5 or more). Weather permitting outside seating is available.

The Coffee Pot

During a holiday weekend, expect a longer than usual wait for seating and for your food. We realized that and are patient customers because the food is good and the outdoor patio is great! That being said, when the cook gets an order for scrambled eggs but tries to turn the fried eggs he made into scrambled eggs it is the most disgusting plate of eggs you want to see and eat! Our waitress did not bring this out, extra servers seemed to help out. Hubby did not mentioned it because they were so busy, and with the hot humid weather we did not want to wait even further for another dish or cause our overly busy waitress problems in those conditions. No excuse for the cook however....he should have known better, correct your mistake, don't send out crap! This, of course, is not intended to discourage going there, and it wouldn't to most of their customers. It's just sad that a situation like this happens, hopefully not again.

We ate here on our visit for all three meal times. They have amazing food, excellent and friendly staff, accommodating menu, and near atmosphere. It is in walking distance and easy to access. The food was delicious! One of our friends has a severed gluten issue and they go the extra mile so there is no cross-contamination. A must visit place while visiting the area.

Jack Andrea is a fourth generation family-owned store. Before coffee houses & drug store chains dotted the community's corners, Jack Andrea was building memories with generations of Kenoshans. We're proud to have been serving Kenosha since 1911. We carry

Jack's Café, located in Andrea's gift store, is a gem. The service is excellent, the area is clean and the food is fresh, well seasoned and delicious. They offer several homemade soups every day. They also make their own salads, the chicken salad on a croissant is perhaps the best in Kenosha. Moreover, they offer a large assortment of pies and ice cream dishes, for it was originally a ice cream/soda shop decades ago. Going to Jacks is like stepping back in time. Down home food and good people. I frequent this establishment as much as possible.
