Nice little place with a fun atmosphere and seriously great soup and sandwiches. Something about the homey tomato decor strikes the perfect balance between kitsch and class. And the deli-style menu is top notch

With so many of the other of their stores no longer selling gelato, we're so glad the one in Petoskey still does. There is a big change in cafeteria area in that they only do tacos now, even though they looked delicious. I remember their sandwiches being wonderful but that's not what we came for. The sorbetto is what I like and the blood orange and raspberry never disappoints. My husband always goes for weird combinations, including this time when he chose pistachio and Wildflower. Beats me, but he seemed to really enjoy it. The gelato is always the highlight of our Petoskey trip and worth the stop to check it out.
Visited here per recommendation by relatives. Seated quickly and welcomed. Hours appeared to be erratic. Service friendly. Noticed they had two Wi Fi systems and asked for password only to be told flatly that the public is not given access since they did not want people dawdling. I suggested they might try offering Wi Fi and was told flatly that ânever happenâ and they didnât care. Food was very good. Prices average.

HotDoggers Coney Cafe in Petoskey is a cute diner with indoor and outdoor dining. Quick style service of regional hotdogs and coneys, sandwiches, burgers, fried foods, soups, and specials. We are loved by the locals! Menu is affordable and posted online.
Came off of Beaver Island on a Wednesday morning on the 8am plane and stopped here for breakfast. Classic diner fare and very good... and filling. The owners were very nice and we had a pleasant visit. Eggs, potatoes, and sausage for my wife. Hot cakes and bacon here. All top shelf and priced realistically unlike others in town. For those of you who remember Judyâs diner in the same location, the new owners have the same super recipe for hot cakes. My wife went shopping afterward, and was asked by two ladies if she could recommend a place to get a good breakfast. She told them Hotdoggers Cafe, around the corner. Weâll Be back.
