Veloc Cafe is a wonderful little restaurant with a stunning view of the old cathedral. The owner couldnât speak English but actually went and google translated on his phone every time we needed help understanding. He was very friendly, very helpful and a real delight. He makes 2 hot dishes daily from fresh ingredients. We got the duck leg on fresh mashed potatoes and carrots in orange. We shared all 3 of his fresh cakes; apricot and apple; chocolate and nut and lastly yogurt bread with fresh jams. His wife works the cafe next door and she makes coffees and muffins and croissants. Really recommend this place

I've been on the lookout for a cocktail in France that wasn't a tacky summer-tourist thing, and I finally found one at the silver owl. The ambience was nice, areas are sectioned and divided by different furniture, providing different moods.The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, but allowed us to practice our French.

The first time I went to the Locat, it took me 10 minutes to realize this coffee-restaurant (lunch only) place was very much different. Here, Hélène has succeed to create a unique atmosphere where everyone belongs because they all share the same values. At the local, you'll always find someone interesting to talk to, Hélène will talk and laugh (you can't miss her laugh) with you, she will cook with love like your grandma hosting you for a Xmas eve. Do not miss this place, and let your spirit enjoy it.
