A modern cafe with a beautiful outside terrace with wonderful views from high up in Gordes. You can see for miles, even beyond Cavaillon some 18km away.As for the coffee it's the best cafe au lait we've had in France, beautifully milky and frothy and weak in coffee. Not the usual extra strong black stuff with a little milk thrown in, this was more like a latte. The hot chocolate was just as nice and with such stunning views we stayed for a second cup.The only slight annoyance was that we were charged an extra â¬1.40 for sitting on the terrace rather than in the main building!

We have been visiting this place for years and have always highly rated it. It is also wonderfully located between Avignon Airport and our holiday destination in Bonnieux so has become the place for lunch on our first day after landing; and then the place to visit for people watching. But it appears there are new owners and it did not seem the same this month: not so relaxed with staff not so wanting to spend time with customers. And with them wanting to set out the cloths and cutlery on all the tables from 11.15am onwards one is left feeling unwanted as just wanting to sit relax and enjoy a glass of something. Advice to owners: be more relaxed with us.

Clean open space inside, nice terrace with great view on the outside. We had simple drinks so not much can be said other than it was good.
