Came across Agora by accident while wandering the back streets of Peurto de la Cruz looking for somewhere relaxed for a drink. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and drinks very reasonably priced (Beer/Weissbier, soft drinks, cocktails, gin/vodka and tonic, craft beers). Lovely area away from the bustle of the main plaza and other areas. Worth hunting out. Seating area a little uncomfortable better seats needed but.....not as uncomfortable as the live musician/guitarist can make you feel while asking for a tip (or âcollaborationâ) to be placed in his tambourine or if youâd like to buy his CD - regardless of whether youâve just sat down!

We had a wonderful lunch at this tucked away gourmet burger restaurant in the hills above la orotava. It is certainly worth the trip as the selection is varied and unusual. Apart from the plain burger with wedges for my youngest, we had the oishii burger, which blended the succulent patty with American cheese, pickles and a mango ketchup and the other was a Thai inspired burger with wasabi cream cheese and vegetable tempura. All were served with crispy wedges and with drinks for all the bill only came to 22 euros.

Came here for breakfast, lovely spacious café with some outside seating. Had coffee, juice and tostadas. The tostada con tomate was one of the best Iâve had with tomato pulp on top of thin sesame coated bread with cheese on top and my partner had ham on top of his as well. I also tried one of their traditional coffees, a barraquito which was nice but too sweet for my taste. They also sell clothes here as well, their own creations I think. Great little place for breakfast, we would definitely eat here again.

Great little cake shop where you can "pick and mix" from a wide variety of the types of cakes your granny might have baked. You can sit down and eat them in the shop, but we took ours to the nearby garden and ate them in the sunshine.Very good value!
