Discover Restaurants offering the best Cafe food in London, Ontario, Canada. You’ll see double-decker buses and even the River Thames, but while London, Ontario, has clearly been inspired by its British namesake, this is a distinctly Canadian destination. Attractions like Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Banting House and Eldon House will captivate history buffs. Or indulge your, shall we say, slightly less cerebral side with a tour of the Labatt Brewery.

Just got back from a very disappointing visit to this restaurant. I live in the neighbourhood so had high hopes. They have all the right ingredients for a super restaurant...great location, outdoor patio, lots of foot traffic but once we entered it was so so disappointing. The place was not busy but we had to wait for a server to seat us, then wait and wait for a cup of coffee. We actually approached a server and the manager about the wait but still had to wait. I had plenty of time to observe the workings of the place. The servers were busy but Tony the General Manager needs to get off his phone, get off his favourite seat at the bar and actually work with his staff instead of lifting his head from his phone and giving directions by pointing a finger.By the way Tony, i know where you hide your phone.

We have been to other Plant Matter locations, and enjoyed this one for lunch. Elyse was a gracious host and is passionate about what she does. We were able to sample some of their new creations and I ended up ordering their new chili. It was delicious! Quality food and environmentally responsible. Give them a try, you won't miss the meat!

Yowsa, this espresso will wake you up! I found it quite strong in flavour, compared to milder lattes I have elsewhere. The pricing is steeper than other places too. My small latte was $6.15 each day (while attending a course downtown). Anyway, I would probably go back again when I'm in the area for a course, since I think the latte is superior to other coffee shops within walking distance.

My friends and I came for brunch. Our meal had some highs and some lows.... The good: the restaurant is nicely decorated. Food tasted good and was presented well. We had the cinnamon bun French toast, bag daddy stack and panini. The bad: this place was disorganized! People lining up for tables, waiting to have names taken, leaving the door open and wind blowing inside. Servers talking to one another while standing over customers. Tables had missing cutlery and missing refills on coffee. Portions were a bit small for the price, and wait times for a table and food were outrageous.
