We had been travelling along the beautiful coast and decided to have a chance visit to Lerici. We came across La Perla with a gentle breeze overlooking the harbour. We ordered some melon and prosciutto, marinated anchovies (both quite acceptable and nicely presented) We were served awfully boring and dry bread, no olive oil. To follow I had an okay fritto misto and my partner had a pizza (nice base, no herbs so a bit bland) but otherwise fine. I had some house wine (not great really). The team who worked there were all very pleasant and helpful. I used the toilets across the road where their the base is and they were clean and acceptable but not if you were disabled as you had to step up to the toilet.

Lovely bar/cafe opposite the pier with real vinyl. Great cappos , with great nibbles at aperativo time . Unique bar as the waiters take their life in their hands crossing a busy ( italian ) road to serve food and drinks in the section by the sea !

While strolling along the harbor, we noticed this small restaurant on a small pier sticking out into the water. It had a great view to the gaily painted buildings and we found a table right at the water's edge, perfect to enjoy a coup of strong Italian caffe and relax while watching the boats pull in and out in front of the perfect silhouette of the town. Very reasonable prices: Caffe for EU1 and wonderful ambience.

this is a nice little place for a before, or after dinner drink when in Lerici. On weekends, they have psychodelic lights on the walls around the place....
