I donât normally gush about a restaurant, but this one is worth gushing about! Had an early breakfast here. We were immediately greeted with warmth and humor and served a very tasty breakfast by our waiter Ricardo. You will love the extensive menu, the baked goods made on site, the aesthetic yet warm ambiance, and the generous and friendly service. Advice: go on the early side to avoid crowds.

The sandwiches and soups that we ordered were tasty, after all they use Boar head meats. The out door garden dining was delightful, but the indoor space was lacking, and I'm not sure what. The connection to books seemed forced. I must have missed the value of this as all I saw was a topic of kids books on a display area. I liked the tables and eclectic styles of furniture. But when I looked around it seemed to fall short somehow. The restrooms were like storage closets for the vaccum and boxes. So much potential here to use the old furniture or garden theme with very little effort. So the bottom line is the sandwich was good, but for twelve dollars I would expect more of a cafe type service, rather than standing in line like a food truck. When you walk in, it's all nice, but you have to go to the back to order at a counter and pour your own fountain beverage. It isn't cohesive. I loved the patio and so did most people as it was well visited and the inside was virtually empty. I would return again to sit with friends and not rush in a loud restaurant, but this restaurant could be so much better with a few changes.

Saw mushroom soup.. HMMM..hot day.. ordered sweet Italian sausage sandwich... with cup of soup. Mushrooms soup, several variety combined-Incredible flavor, seasoned with love. Sandwich served in perfect roll, didn't quit holding filling that was plentiful and not too saucy. In town visiting, friend brought me here... HAPPY TO HAVE EATEN HERE.

This new business in Montrose is a jewel. The place is darling and the food divine. Counter Service, food delivered to your table but the most charming and hard working young people! Options to choose from: Rustic French Dishes, Paleo-Friendly selections, Gluten Free options...all delicious! The Blueberry Muffins are from heaven!After enjoying your meal, you can take a stroll through the small retail area, supplied by highly skilled craftsmen and sustainable manufactures. I will be back here and often!
