Wife really wanted to check this place out. When we arrived, the staff were very friendly. Asked if it was our first visit, which it was. So they explained what was what. After looking at their impressive selection, we chose a donut, which was made fresh. My wife has more of a sweet tooth than I do, so I just broke off a bit of hers. We both agreed it was probably the best donut we have ever had. If you really love donuts, this is the place to get them. Definitely worth the extra money to get a better quality, and freshly made donut.

Because it's within walking distance, my wife and I decided to try Verona. No regrets - but nothing special, either. The bread was very ordinary, the dipping oil unseasoned. She enjoyed her golden beet salad and gnocchi ragu, although she said the latter was very heavy. She's a pretty good eater but barely finished half the portion. My linguini pescatore was good but unexceptional, the primary shortcoming being the bland marinara. She enjoyed her cannoli but my chocolate cake with strawberry mousse and dusted pistachio was utterly tasteless. Service was good, ambience was fine, and the background music seemed lifted right out of Olive Garden. With so many decent Italian restaurants from which to choose in this area, the only reason I can think of to return would be if we want to walk to dinner. It could happen, but I doubt it.
Fantastic brunch! The banana chocolate chip waffle was amazing and didnât taste gluten free at all. Absolutely loved the vegan lox bagel (the âsmoked salmonâ is actually thinly sliced, tender carrot strips with herby vegan cream cheese). Fancy desserts were also tasty and sized just right. Planning on going here again to sample more of their menu. Everything is vegan and some items are gluten free.

Went here for a casual lunch, mainly to try the rice flour crepes (naturally gluten free). They offer sweet and savory crepes with lots of options to add if you wish. I had a veggie crepe with added avocado and sweet chili sauce. Super filling and abounding with bright, fresh vegetables. Another crepe in our partyâs order was a breakfast crepe with eggs and cheese etc. Their drinks are great too! Tasted the strawberry cucumber iced tea. Itâs so amazing! Perfect drink on a hot day. They have a huge but not overwhelming menu and cater to all palates (meat, vegetarian, vegan, sweet/dessert crepes, etc). Itâs super clean inside with friendly service. Whatâs not to like?
