We were just passing through Bregenz and needed to stop for food. Found this place on Tripadvisor, and it looked delightful. We were hungry though - and the wonderful girl behind the counter was honest about Wunderbar having just light meals, and set out to help us find a good place to eat on a quiet Sunday night right before closing time. And she did! Even phoning ahead to be sure. Amazing service and friendliness - so we intend to stop there another time and actually stay there to enjoy the quaint, nice interior too

The icecream was good, but the bill was not good. For 5 globes of icecream, 5*1.3euro we payed 10.1euro. Yes, the cones were another 0.2euro each (0.2*3 cones). So we payed 3 euro more, just like this....And the woman pretended that she didn't understand our point because we were speaking English.

Lovely meal at this very friendly and welcoming restaurant. The owner was lovely and very helpful. No problems serving a gluten free meal for my husband which was tasty and delicious and homemade by the owners wife....The food was all homemade and very well priced...great advice given on best wine to choose also.I would recommend pre booking as this restaurant is very popular and busy, although we did manage to get a table within 15 mins but in the summer I don't think that would be possible.Delightful and helpful owner who was happy to speak English to us as well....we will definitely return here when in Lindau again.
