I have been to kokonut several times and have never been disappointed. The otai is delicious, the teriyaki chicken is super good, my absolute favorite is the loco moco. The costumer service is fantastic as well. We will always be loyal customers and tell everyone we know about it.
Informal atmosphere but really good food. Reminds me of the great BBQ restaurants in Charleston, South Carolina. Ample portions of BBQ chicken, fall-off-the-bone ribs, pulled pork and smoked beef brisket which make up their offerings. This is a "carnivores only" kind of place. Good selection of sides as well that are all homemade, a little different but very savory. Nice to have a place that serves food that is clearly regional and not just like everyone where stuff comes out of a can or package. I'll be back!
This is a new restaurant for Bountiful, but sits at best #3 in town for BBQ (Charlotte-Rose and Smokin Bonz taste better.) The "baked beans" were more like spicy chili. The meats were ok, but not exceptional. I'll visit the other two BBQ places before here.
