I absolutely crave the flavor of their chicken. It is very crusty and delicious. The tea is great as well. The dining area is very outdated but homey feeling.. I encourage you to give it a try

After taking in a movie across the street, we popped into this restaurant for a late-evening bite. The service was good, and the beer was cold, but the food was not quite up to par. Because it was late on a Wednesday (9:00-ish) I felt like our Hog Cakes (a twist on crab cakes, made with pulled pork) were left over from earlier in the day. They were hard, lukewarm, and not quite edible. The SoDo shrimp were a bit better, but not very flavorful, despite the boom-boom sauce.I could see the potential, and we may just have hit this restaurant at an off-time, but regardless of the hour of the day, I would like to have the food that I order fresh and presented to me the same at noon as at 9 pm! It is also a little hard to pronounce the name of this restaurant! I understand it is an acronym for its location in the town, but as a traveler, I can't explain that!

Years ago, this was the place to go on a Friday or Saturday night for good seafood. Have been a couple of times in the last year and, each time we say we wonât be back. Not bad tasting but really just didnât have good flavor. I got flounder and it was just okay. Nothing good- pretty tasteless. My family agreed. Plus it is overpriced for the serving size. There are other seafood places just a short drive away that are much better and a better value. The wait staff seemed unprofessional as well. Older lady who didnât seem physically able to be waitressing and want too excited about having to wait on us. My recommendation- just keep driving

We were hanging out with two of our grandchildren and after seeing the new Lion King we were referred to this joint. Let's start with the menu.... Super stacked!!!! When I mean super stack for a place of their size, we were seriously impressed!!! Crabs, soul food, seafood, etc. All the down south items you've grown up to enjoy is being offered in this small venue and customer service is A-1!!!! I don't eat meat so I ordered a veggie plate and their lima beans were cooked to perfection!!!! Oir grandchildren were completely quiet the entire time while they ate and we all left so full and satisfied!!!! This is a must try on your local ventures.... BTW, did I mention they use crab AND lobster in their crab cakes?!!!!
