We were delighted to find this excellent new steak restaurant in Saint Rémy. A real gem run by three local guys.We started with foie gras and caesar salad, with two glasses of reasonably priced champagne and wine. A good start.Then we ordered fillet steak with pepper sauce with a side of roasted vegetables. The steak was succulent and lean, the pepper sauce creamy and pungently peppery. The roasted vegetables gratinés and full of flavour.We met some new people at the next table, this place has a fun convivial ambiance. The restaurant has only been open 3 months and set within a courtyard. The service was very good - one of the waiters was very amusing, but there did seem to be a lack of organisation. The main dishes are cooked on an outdoor BBQ.I would say that the starters are a bit on the expensive side for what you get but apparently they are changing the menu so hopefully the dishes will be a bit more reasonably priced. The setting is lovely and a lot of the tables were full when we left. There are a few teething problems but it won't stop us going back there are we really enjoyed our meal ;-)

A friend and I visited this new restaurant for lunch. Easy access, not far from the center of St Remy. Parking and vegetation in the bargain. The place is lovely, with outdoor tables set around a small pool. We had grilled courgettes with Parmigiano (a zucchini/squash type vegetable) for hors d'oeuvres and veal osso bucco and grilled bream (whole dorade) for main courses. Perfectly cooked and tasty, nothing over the top. My friend enjoyed a fig dessert. I skipped tea, and wished they had a proper selection. After lunch, the young chef came to pay a visit. All very down to earth and relaxed. The indoor room is light and comfortable.Kudos to Houssine!I wish this restaurant success.

Enjoyed a fabulous meal at this newly opened restaurant, with a menu designed to be shared.The courtyard setting is exquisite, with busy yet attentive staff buzzing about delivering straight forward but delicious sharing dishes to groups of two or upwards. The property itself is the star, and the food not far behind. We had:Starter; Asian salad with prawns. Fresh and delicious, maybe too big for two, could have done with a few more prawns. Main; pork ribs with side of macaroni cheese with lardons. Beautiful meat, a touch bland until I poured the juices from the pork dish into my food - the taste of apples and fat was amazing. Dessert; Tropezienne. A classic desert, incredibly enjoyable.
