I don't understand the favorable ratings for Rib City? I've tried it twice just to make sure I didn't make a rash decision. Both visits were completely awful - ribs are the worst I've ever eaten. Everything tastes like it was baked in an oven and not smoked or anything resembling traditional BBQ. I am a new resident to Cape Coral and felt cheated and will not return to Rib City.

For a chain, the 'cue here is quite good. There are sauces on the table, but the baby backs don't need any help. They separate easily, and the rub is tasty. The pulled pork is also well prepared, and makes a nice launching pad for the various sauces, which are worth sampling. The sides that we tried-- garlic bread, french fries, onion rings, baked beans, and cole slaw-- ranged from average to above average in quality. Finally, we found the portions large enough to makes the meal reasonably priced with regard to quantity as well as quality. In sum, we plan to return when next in Fort Myers Beach.

Husband and I went for burgers. Burgers were over cooked and dry, fries were cold and slaw was warm. From the person who seated us to the waitress, to the person who brought the food, no one smiled, no one seemed to care if we were there or not. Hows the food? No one asked. Lastly, the place is dirty. Didnt notice that until we were sitting down. Skip this place.
