Weâve gotten takeout from Bobcatâs twice. The smokey flavor on the brisket is outstanding. And the potato salad is the best Iâve had as well. Will update in future as I try new items from menu but very happy thereâs such an authentic barbecue restaurant so close!

When you're looking for good food with family, a drink with friends, or even just a place to watch the game, come see what's cooking at the Mason Jar! We believe that variety is the spice of life so our menu is all about options. Choose from a crisp salad
While the food is good, it's not worth tolerating the service. We were a table of ten, so I understand some difficulty, but not like this. We waited 15 minutes for a waitress who took our drink orders and was gone for another ten minutes. When she did return, she only brought half of the drinks, came back with all but one, then returned with the last. We waited another ten minutes before she came back to take our food orders. We specifically asked her if she wanted to know how the check was to be split before we started ordering. She did, and appeared to write that information down as she took orders. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our food, which is understandable with such a large party; however, only one or two entrees at a time appeared, and these were all served by different staff members. The food was good, although some had gotten cold as we waited for everyone to be served before we began to eat. After the meal, our waitress came to the table with one check. When we reminded her how the check was to be split, she began bringing one check to the table at a time, asking each person what they ordered before she went off to calculate the next check. The one-at-a-time routine began all over again as she took our checks. As usual with large parties, a gratuity of 20% had already been added to each check. I should have refused to pay it, but all I wanted was to leave. We wish you would have requested to speak to a manager.....The Mason Jar must apologize for the lackluster service....for whatever personal reasons our server had a melt down....One of our floor manager's helped out when she saw our server was not performing up to snuff...Next time you come in please ask to speak to me, Ira Kaplinâ¦..Again we know there was a problem, and hopefully it is now corrected....Thank you for your attention and letting us hear from you.

A terrific selection of BBQ meats, including pork, beef, and chicken. Also shrimp, turkey, and a whole slew of vegetables and great side dishes. The portions are large, the selection includes platters, sandwiches, and a bunch of salads (with meat of course!). One nice aspect is that you can order just a meat dish, and yes/no as to sides. Parking is tight, but doable. There are daily specials, including a Monday all you can eat buffet.
