Me and my wife have been three days, two nights in Palau, Sardinia. We adore the Sardinian food and definitively wanted to enjoy the best of the isle cousine. After checking on the Tripadvisor, for the first dinner we chose to go to Cucumiao and we totally believe we couldn't do a better choice. The place is traditional and warmly welcoming, the personnel is well trained and professional and makes you feel well. But the mesmerizing thing is the quality of the food that leaves you breathless. They do a great work in selecting the best ingredients from the isle and cook them so wonderfully that any dish is an explosion of taste.Home made pastas are incredible. Fish and meat juicy and superlative.Try sardinian cheeses or salami, they will surprise you too.We loved so much our first dinner that we had to return for the second dinner, the day after.Let me tell you this: I shall return to Palau ONLY to go to Cucumiao again. They say that having returning customers is the best compliment for any business: well, this is my most spontaneous compliment!Should I find a suggestion for the owner to further improve the place, I'd only say that the big dining hall is a little noisy.Ciao Thanks for suggestion ;) We are always busy end we are in the SUMMER TIME GRAZIE

We visited Porto Pollo on a whim while driving from Olbia to Stintino. We had read about it in an in-flight magazine which featured Rupi's. Rupi's is a laid back surfer type bar / snack place - there is an awesome painted VW campervan there which I understand is used by a DJ. Sadly we weren't there long enough to experience this but bet the vibe would be ace. We had lunch. There was a good selection to choose from but we just had a sandwich each .... a big sandwich, oh and fries, which were all really good. We shall be back for that long weekend and DJ campervan session.

We got the recommandation from our Airbnb in Palau. It's a fanatastic place to have a traditional sardic dinner menu (wood fired roasted pork) for a fair price. The location is so nice and friendly staff. I guess you have to book in advance.
