Golden is the Home Rule Municipality that is the county seat of Jefferson County, Colorado, United States. Golden lies along Clear Creek at the base of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Founded during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush on June 16, 1859, the mining camp was originally named Golden City in honor of Thomas L. Golden. Golden City served as the capital of the provisional Territory of Jefferson from 1860 to 1861, and capital of the official Territory of Colorado from 1862 to 1867. In 1867, the territorial capital was moved about 12 miles (19 km) east to Denver City. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the city population was 18,867 in 2010.

Maybe it was just a bad night. Maybe it was leftovers. Whatever it was, the baby backs were terrible. As well, the broccoli and baked beans had too much vinegar.We were very disappointed.I'm so sorry, Larry! We usually get great reviews on our ribs, so I'm very disappointed that yours were not the best. Did you let your server know? We work hard to always provide the best quality food and great customer service. I'm sorry we let you down.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. First time here. It's located in a small strip mall. I had smoked chicken sandwich, sweet potato tots, and potato chips. All fresh made in house. I really like that they don't put on BBQ sauce. They offer 2 kinds of sauce spicy and semi-sweet which are on the tables along with a roll of paper towels. The smoked chicken had a really great flavor. Both BBQ sauce was exactly how I like it - not to spicy and not too sweet PERFECT! Homemade pickles came with the sandwich - yummy. And really liked the sides. The only thing I would change or ask them to do next time would be to warm the bun up - it came out cold. They even have a sink to wash your hands with a foot control to turn the water on/off in the dining area. I will definitely be coming back :)

Love, love, love the baked spuds. Giant bakers with meat. Sour Cream, cheese, bacon bits (to die for). The only thing I did not like, is the plastic wear. I left it in the container, and set the microwave for 2 minutes. Before the bell rang, the smell of melting plastic burned through the air. As I ran to the machine and seached the air for smoke, the smell became overwhelming. Upon inspection of the container and my leftover potato, the fork and knife had melted down into a black smokey stinky blob. Needless to say, my potato was toast (the smell had become the taste of the food.) Won't do that again. :/

We ordered hot links, brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese, beans, fries and cornbread. Everything was excellent. Greeted right away, had help with ordering, paid and found a table. Our food was brought out between 10-15 minutes after ordering. Someone was constantly walking around cleaning up our dirty dishes, getting us a to go box and offering any extras we needed. We would come back here.
