Folegandros (also Pholegandros; Greek: Φολέγανδρος) is a small Greek island in the Aegean Sea which, together with Sikinos, Ios, Anafi and Santorini, forms the southern part of the Cyclades. Its surface area is 32.216 square kilometres (12.439 sq mi) and it has 765 inhabitants. It has three small villages, Chora, Karavostasis, and Ano Meria, which are connected by a paved road. We lunched here a couple of times and had a takeaway. Great authentic souvlaki, caters for vegetarians. Cheerful service. Good house white. Brilliant value, probably the best value we found in the Cyclades. We enjoyed the location which was good for people watching.

We tried by chance the Souvlaki Club on the first evening of our stay in Folegandros and have returned for lunch for the rest of our stay. Food is super fresh and tasty and actually quite light. Our preferred one is the pita kebab- the best ever! Service is quick, the waiter a really nice guy and prices unbeatable. Donât miss it when in Folegandros!

We had been here a few years ago and was really ... not so good. We went back this year after it opened again last summer and found that is now really good. Lamb, pork, chiken all grilled marvellously. Fantastically located in a beautiful square. So, if you have chance and wish a good grill go there.

New restaurant in Folégandros I ve been coming for years in Folégandros And this new restaurant will be your best traditional greek restaurant for the summer. The food is traditional but sophisticated and delicious. I ve been reconnected with the real greek dishes and Kuzina. Finally I donât feel like a tourist anymore when I leave this restaurant. Pleasure !
