We enjoyed a lovely meal here. Waitstaff was pleasant and attentive. The Steak was cooked perfectly. I had the âsurf and turfâ addition which was calamari and garlic sauce. One measure of a restaurant kitchen skill is how they serve calamari. It was tender and cut with a fork. PERFECT. The steak sandwich was well seasoned and the meat cooked to perfection. A wonderful meal with oursdie seating. Four beers, two meals, $71 AUS

We booked here as we wanted to have a meal without cooking after setting up our caravan in the park up the road. Pleasantly surprised with our meal, I had the fish and chips while my wife had the crispy skin salmon, she really liked the salad that came with it, as she said it was different and not your run of the mill one that you normally get. I have to admit I liked mine as well even though it was just a garden salad at least it was not just a handful of limp lettuce leaves in a bowl. The only disappointment was we would have liked a sweet but the menu was very limited and as my wife has an allergy to wheat, there was nothing we could share. Might be time to think of adding something like a panna cotta or a creme brûlée to the menu. Otherwise would highly reccomend the food. The staff were very prompt and helpful.

Had the Parma special and it was not very good. Over cooked to hard on the outside and dry in the inside. Others has a slightly better meal, but not by a whole lot. Being new to the area we went looking for new dining out establishments and came across Hindquarter Steakhouse in Pakenham. Have been twice now, once for pasta dishes and once for steak.Great tasty meals both times, served quickly by friendly staff.On the pasta night neither of us could get through the meal and took home the balance to finish another day. On steak night we both finished as it was just to tasty to leave.Both visits were on a Wednesday and there were not that many people eating out, perhaps more popular later in the week.Reasonably priced and we will be back.
