The four of us had excellent meals and enjoyed the atmosphere. We met friends here from out of town. We all had good meals and service was excellent. One gluten free and one vegetarian in our group and we had no trouble finding food to order from their large menu.Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. We're glad you enjoyed our menu and that we were able to meet your needs. We look forward to seeing you again!

Situated just slightly off the main street of downtown Landrum, Southside Smokehouse is more than the name suggests. Though great barbecue is a staple of our menu we also offer burgers, steaks, Cajun/Creole cuisine and now our new locally sourced, globall
Some of the best Q we have ever had! Clean and a very professional and efficient wait staff. The bbq pulled pork sandwiches were awesome and the hush puppies pretty darn tasty. If we are back in this area...we will make this a must stop! Enjoy!
Kind of tucked away in the basement level off of Main street. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Her smiles lit up the place. It's a small pub - no frills - but with good service. The beer offerings are a little limited by today's standards, but they seem to cover a wide variety. The food - well, come on it is a pub, so one shouldn't expect high end cuisine, right? Actually, it was pretty good. I had the fish & chips - they were OK, but could have been better (a bit flavorless and overly breaded), but still good enough I would order them again! I think I would ask for double tartar sauce, though, and add Tabasco to it maybe. My wife had the Reuben sandwich and she said it was very good. They do have some heartier fare as well - we will give that a try another time. Definitely going back!

Relaxed atmosphere, seafood & wild game, chef-inspired specialties. Full bar & wine list, perfect for business dinner or dinner with the family, or hanging out with friends in the lounge! After dinner events & bands most nights of the week.
We tried dinner here before going to the Chapman Center. It was very good. Not knowing Spartanburg I'm not sure what this place was in it's prior life but the furnishings are very unusual, mix of furnishings from other restaurants and someone's den. The food was great. I had the drunken seafood which had a great flavor. My only negative comment would the size of the scallops. My partner had the Australian sea bass, not something you see on the menu every day. He loved it. The portion sizes are very generous, no room for dessert. Go early enough to take advantage of the happy hour specials. The place also had several TVs so you can watch a game and a band was setting up for a later performance. We will definitely go back.
