115 Bourbon Street was the location that was chosen for a luncheon for a group of retirees that get together on a regular basis. There is so much room at 115 Bourbon Street that you don't feel crowded. The restaurant, the banquet rooms, patio and the restrooms are all clean and well-maintained. The staff, especially the bartenders, was very friendly and efficient. The food was tasty and there was more than enough through the buffet line. It started with salad & dressings, small rolls, beef with sweet peppers, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mostaccioli, green beans and cookies and brownies for a bit of dessert.

After four years of planning and construction, Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. We would create a signature menu with a selection of dishes designed to pair perfectly with
I chose this Oak Lawn location, it's a bit more organized than Orland Park location. For lunch try their "over the boarder egg rolls "DELICIOUS"! For dinner I get the "crusted pork chop". Another "EXCELLENT" choice! Make sure you ask for "Karen" tell her Mz. LiWanda sent you. The GURL is BADD!! She represents CUSTOMER SERVICE in EVERY PROSPECTIVE!

All of us who live within a 15-minute drive of Horse Thief Hollow were thrilled when a wonderful brewpub replaced the carpet store at 104th and Western in Chicago's Beverly neighborhood. We have made several visits--both for lunch and dinner--and attempt to try out different menu items each time. Lately I've been enjoying and recommending the refreshing Arugula Salad topped with grilled chicken, Manchego cheese and pecans--and served with lemon vinaigrette. My husband's current favorite is the Paleo burger (sans onion). If your entree requires a side, the buttermilk slaw, sweet potato fries and corn bread all are excellent. Of course, HTH is a brewpub. So, what to order? My husband has a few favorites but especially enjoys the Kitchen Sink pale ale while I prefer the specialty root beer (sans alcohol) and the tonic water. One last note: HTH has won awards in several beer competitions but must be acknowledged for its owner winning the James Tyree award (out of 70+ nominees) given by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. The award honors small business owners for entrepreneurship and community involvement. So, congratulations to owner Neil Byers on his award and to all of us who have this wonderful addition to our area!

Ordered sandwiches and salad to be delivered a couple weeks ago. Ordered the chicken Parmesan and the BBQ chicken. BBQ chicken was awful. Basically they just put a ton of BBQ sausage on the chicken and put it on the bun. The sandwich was swimming in the BBQ sauce. The chicken Parmesan was more cheese then chicken and the quality of chicken was poor. The person who took the order said the sandwiches came with fries but there were no fries delivered. Salad was ok. Very disappointing.
