Had a superb meal this evening, with thoughtful and efficient staff. When the bill came, we noticed that we had been charged £9 for two pints of lime and soda. When we queried this, we were told that this was the standard price for a pint of soft drink (£4.50 each) - confirmed by the price on the drinks menu. A real shame, as the same drink costs 80p at the pub up the road. We have dined here many times, and have never been disappointed by the quality of the food, but this excessive charge has left a sour taste.Thank you for your kind words I am really sorry to hear you have found some drinks price expensive, I have taken note and since soda water price has been reduced next time you are in the restaurant please ask for the manger I will personally apologise to you and give you refund For soda water , Rajdoot your restaurant please donât stop coming any problem please ask for me Also apology for late reply I was out of country Many thanks for the review Best wishes Kind regards Rahman Lyak Team Rajdoot

We went to celebrate a Birthday, the restaurant was buzzing but a table was found for us which was great as we hadnât booked. We ordered Papadums as a starter and asked that it be delivered with our other two starters. We ordered 3 mains and some side dishes rice and a naan. Unfortunately the papadums came on their own and a little later all the other dishes arrived at one time .. starters and mains together. The food overall was very good but obviously some of it got cold while we were eating our starters. When the bill came it was not right.. half of our order along with someone elseâs! It would have been cheaper to pay the wrong bill but we pointed out the error and got the correct more expensive bill... but no thank you for pointing out the error or apology. So Good Food but a disappointing experience

This was the first time I ordered a food delivery from this establishment. When the phone was answered the response was as though I had interrupted his day! Three dishes, King prawn Patia, one pilau rice and a chicken Bhuna. No extras no drinks, just those three dishes.......... Over £40.00!!!!!! Really? I have eaten in restaurants all over the world and had food deliveries in many countries. However, and sadly, not only in my own country but in my own back yard I got one of the worst meals ever. Over spiced to the point of very sour and glutenous but very very poor quality. Example, King prawn Patia, £12.00. Question, how many king prawns??? Four!!! yes just four and with tails on. The last thing I want to do is dig my fingers in the sauce to dig out a prawn to remove the tail!! I have been a Chef for many years and eat regularly at the Ritz London to Frank's Pizza place in Houston Texas so have a wide and varied choice and pallet. The chicken dishes had about four large pieces of chicken but bulked up with onions and peppers. The sauce was very over spiced and very sour to the point of just throwing it all down the waste disposal. It may be different if you eat in house but my experience was that of a rude person on the end of the phone that couldn't wait to put it down, Very low quality food with far too much spice that masked any flavours at all and the cost was way over the top. It would be interesting if I got a response from this establishment but personally? I doubt it. Very sadly, compared with the USA and in particular the state of Texas our customer service is way behind and know that if the Red Rose "Bangladeshi Cuisine"!!!!! Were it any where else it would probably last about six months. If I served or presented so called Bangladeshi Cuisine like this I would be fired in five minutes flat.It would be unfair to judge the restaurant as an eat in but from what I thought I would try as a highly recommended ? No. I'm afraid I would judge this as my review being a kitchen that has very poor standards and a chef with an ill equipped pallet, so will not be using this restaurant again as I feel it was an overall bad experience and think that they should look seriously at customer service point one and secondly the food which is woefully short.

Extra ordinary food, exceptional service. They really take care of their customers. My husband and I enjoy their food immensely. And this is our first preference if we want to take any guest and for any celebration. Best Indian/ Bangladeshi cuisine in Guildford.
