Ordered a falafel roll with hummus, greens, cucumber, tomato and carrot without the sweet chilli or sour cream and enjoyed it. Large serve. The coffee was also enjoyable. Outdoor seating under umbrellas in a paved garden like setting is available as is inside seating. Service friendly. Food freshly made.

Went there today for lunch with my partner & another couple. We ordered the Chicken Kiev, while our friends ordered the Pork Sliders. When our meals arrived at the table, I tried to cut mine with the knife.Nearly mission impossible. Both of the chicken portions were that hard & dry, there was no garlic butter anywhere to be foundinside the piece's.This is not what a Kiev is supposed to be like. The blonde bar attendant came through, & asked how things were.I told her about my concerns, about being very hard, & tasteless. She said she would notify the kitchen staff.I tried to eat as much as I could, as I was really hungry.(Mistake No. 1.)It got harder & more tasteless, as I went on.I managed to eat about 2/3 of it.After the others had finished eating, no one from the kitchen had been anywhere near us.So I got up & went into the kitchen, leaving the plate on the table.(Mistake No. 2)The kitchen staff told me, that they hadn't received any complaint about the meal.(Surprise, Surprise.)I asked the lady if she could come to the table, to have a look at the remains of the meal.Which she did. When we got back out there, the plate's had all vanished. The bar attendant had scooped them up, while I was talking to the kitchen staff. She came out while I was explaining to the cook about the Kiev,& how hard/tasteless it was. When I mentioned I was going to do a review in here. She said, "We were going to give you your money back, but not now."She then told me,"To go ahead, with Trip Advisor ;as it wouldn't hurt them in any way,That they had never had any complaints of any sortabout the meals, they served."After that, she headed back into the bar area.If she was going to offer money back, why wasn't it offered as soon as I raised a complaint.Instead of waiting till the plates had been cleared.I have had some good meals there in the past, but never again. Her attitude & rudeness, was inexcusable.

I can highly recommend the new dinner menu and dining hours at the Farmers plate. Great atmosphere. Nice setting with separated tables and welcoming staff. The French menu has sufficient choices for us. The crispy Camembert salad was excellent. Beef burgundy is also very very good and finished with the best Creme Brûlée I have had. Well worth the $55 per head set price when one considers the locally sourced farm to plate ethos here which would prompt a cost triple this in a responsibly sourced suburb in the city. I can only say, make time to go here for a dining experience long missed in Kyogle.

Stopped in Kyogle for a bite on the way to Grafton. Was supposed to be a quick stop but had to wait 20 mins for a sandwich to be made. To make matters worse, one of the workers clearly had the flu or a cold and was coughing near where the food was being prepared and also serving customers. Sorry but not acceptable, waiting time is understandable but hygiene is of the utmost importance in food service. Disappointed as other patrons food looked delicious. Unfortunately we will not be returning.
