I dined twice at this restaurant last January-2017-and felt that it was good value.The staff were very friendly and took a genuine interest in me as a foreigner.The food was good and presented in a reasonably appetising way...prices were very reasonable.The location is good as the restaurant is right in the middle of Veraval...I can recommend this place as a friendly place to dine on a budget...I am happy to give it 8 out of 10.

We reached Somnath round 9:30 at night after a 10 hr long journey in the traveller Van. We were 20 people all tired and hungry at the same time, so everybody wanted a quick access to their rooms and after a bath food too. The Staff member at reception assured us that all the support staff available at that time will help us to provide whatever we want. And in few minutes we were in our rooms also we got one room upgraded. :-) They had the Honest restaurant below the hotel that provides the food from different cuisines like Chinese, South Indian, Punjabi and Gujarati off-course. At night we asked for milk for small kids even that was available in quick time.Thanks, Hotel Sun Plaza for the hospitality.

Good local dishes (Kathiyawadi dishes) are available here with phulkas. Food taste and quality is good. Service is bit slow. It is attached to lodge.

The buffet spread is very minimal. There are not many things to choose from specially in lunch and dinner time, Breakfast is bit better (considering that most people choose stay with breakfast option). The refilling and restocking of the food takes a lot of time.
