Reviews on Asian food in San Juan, Caribbean. The festive city of San Juan is the perfect place to experience true Puerto Rican culture. Get to know its roots by exploring the vibrant neighborhood of El Viejo San Juan (Old San Juan), which consists mostly of Spanish colonial buildings. Flesh out your self-guided history lesson with a visit to El Castillo San Felipe del Morro, a 16th century citadel that’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then reward yourself with a cooling dip at Luquillo or Carolina Beach, then a tasty tour of the Bacardi rum plant.

I visited Lote 23 with my son who resides in Ciudadela across the street. What an unexpected treat! We went for lunch one day and shared a few items from different vendors, all of which was delicious. We then returned on a weekend night when a terrific live band was playing and people of all ages were singing and dancing along with the band and just having a great time. We enjoyed a few drinks, a variety of very good food items and wonderful entertainment in a safe and vibrant venue. The combination of Lote 23 and Ciudadela make for a fantastic neighborhood and community within Santurce!

When thinking about a Title for an awesome dinning experience... great balanced and intriguing flavors, perfect wine paring (thanks Luis Sierra), and Mary Angelaâs excellent meal recommendations and superb table attention makes me think this is what the Doctor prescribed... feeling satisfied for every penny spent. Highly Recommended!!!!

Fancied some oriental food last night and came across this busy Chinese restaurant. Service was good and the meals were tasty. Portion sizes are huge and most people were taking food home in containers. We would have done the same if our hotel room had a microwave!

The Parrot Club is a nuevo Latino bistro and bar in the SOFO area of Old San Juan on Fortaleza Street. The Parrot Club is a longtime favorite of locals and visitors who enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere, delicious Latin flavors and wonderful cocktails.Esta
We were able to make our own mofongo... such a cool process. We used a wooden pedestal and bowl to smash, to taste, the rich butter/garlic sauce with fried plantains. The bar is extensive. We had the pina colada. It was thin and sweet. Oh my goodness the rice and peas were very moist. The chicken was flavorful and succulent. The staff was friendly and professional. The service was much more speedy than expected in the Caribbean.
