Turned up without booking and although the restaurant was busy we were met with warm smiles and were seated within minutes. The food was excellent and reasonably priced but the service was incredible! Warm, friendly staff who were very attentive without being intrusive.Lovely, wide and varied selection of food on the menu and very nice, reasonably priced wine list too. The restaurant's decor is very dark which adds to a laid back, comfortable atmosphere.Couldnt find fault with any aspect of our visit. Highly recommend a visit to Chungs.

Popped in with family last Saturday and was blown away with the food, service, and atmosphere. Hidden off the high st it was a joy to find and worth it. The food was quite outstanding and every portion a joy to taste. Service was exceptional and overall atmosphere great. Kathmandu Kitchen Malahide is authentic Nepalese & Indian cuisine and we dedicated to providing the customer with an exceptional dining experience.
We were tiring from all the pub grub on our road trip in Ireland so Kathmandu Kitchen was a welcome respite. In fact, Malahide restaurants in general seemed to offer a welcome respite. The menu here was as much or more Indian than Nepalese but I'm no expert. Bottom line, the food was well seasoned and highly flavorful. Our table shared plates, we collectively liked everything we ordered. Wine selection and service were very good. Ambience was 'classy' vs others we experienced in Ireland. It's fair to note the prices were higher too. Our most expensive meal on our trip. One wouldn't expect that of Nepalese cuisine but it's all part of the intended experience I suppose.Again, a very good alternative for the more adventuresome, global diner.Hi Dan, thank you for taking the time to leave us a positive review. We hope you enjoyed your visit to both Ireland and our restaurant.
