Pagoda Restaurant has a good reputation in the community. I went during lunch time and ordered Mongolian Beef which included fried rice, an egg roll and a bowl of soup. It was marked as "spicy" but the taste was more sweet than spicy. The quantity of the lunch plate was large from my perspective. I could not finish my plate and brought the rest home. The size of the serving will certainly be enough for large male appetites.The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant though a bit dark but cool enough and not cluttered. It is a sit down restaurant and not a buffet. The restaurant is located close to the main road (Richardson Highway or Highway 2) connecting North Pole with Fairbanks or Eielson Air Base.The lunch plate costs $15.75 before gratuities. In my opinion, it is a reasonable price for such a large quantity of food. This isn't a low budget meal. The service is prompt and pleasant.I would recommend this restaurant to individuals and families.

If you like Thai food, this would be a good choice. Very large selection, but be warned that when they say not very hot (spicy), that their definition is very understated. Service was very slow, but there were 2 large groups that might explain that.

It was packed on Christmas Day and they ran out of many ingredients. The crowd was overwhelming but the service staffs did well in handling the situation. They tried their best to serve whatever they had in their kitchen at top speed. Portions were small probably due to lack of ingredients but tasted great!
