Cafe Saigon

In perfect accord with Saint-Emilion itself, Cafe Saigon is an epitome of pure elegance through simplicity, refined taste of the food and visual presentation. An exquisite collection of wines (how else?) completes the dining experience. It is safer to book a table, since the place has its own established clients, outside the path of the one day visitors.

La Villa Vietnam

When one takes Vietnamese cuisine, which is generally delicate and tasty, and modifies it to suit French palates it can all become a bit bland and uninteresting.Sadly this appears to be the case here, which offers a mix of many Asian foods including Chinese and Thai. Our enrees of nems (spring rolls) and assorted vapeurs (steamed dumplings) were passable, but tasted commercially bought rather than made in-house, as they were identical to what finds in Chinese takeaways in France. The mains of curried chicken and caramelised pork were a bit bland, as was the Cantonese rice and mixed vegetables. There is a pleasant terrace out the back and parking is easy in front.Service was very good, as was the cold Chinese Tsing Tao beer on a day of 34C.We lived in Singapore for 6 years and we crave good Asian food, which is really hard to find in France.Sadly La Villa Vietnam did not meet our cravings and we will not rush back.

Very quaint location, with a cosy atmosphere and very good food. Lots of typical rolls and sashimi offered, but also had a number of combination plates. Thanks a lot

Restaurant Thai - Le Phuket

We went to have dinner again at this restaurant aftet a long time. We ordered the Chicken tom yum soup, beef with basilic and fried beef noodle. The tom yum soup wasnt so spicy like before (because they changed their recipe), the rest of the meals was perfcet. If you want to have spicier food, you can ask to put more chili (is what we did)
