I took "Iyo Satsuma", a famous dish of this region. Since this restaurant has a good reputation, I expected much. However, it tastes just like a kind of Ochazuke. I was a little bit disappointed. Maybe I should have ordered something else.

Karaage is the Japanese boneless fried chicken. Shokudo Goichi has a menu for 850 yen with fried chicken, chicken tempura or chicken nuggets with rice, cabbage and miso soup. It is also possible to combine 2 chickens in the half and half menu. Dishes are good and big enough for one adult.

It's small restaurant run by two Nepali guys with the best Butter chicken curry this side of the hemisphere! Our group comprised of two families from Sri Lanka and our Japanese tour guides. This food was right on the top compared the many places we've tried before even outside Japan. Their Naan bread is very generously sized and our extremely curry deprived bunch were very well fed after about a dozen Naan breads. We ordered seafood, chicken and a lentil masala curries. The service was quite quick and we thoroughly enjoyed every piece of it! If you're in Matsuyama and into Indian food this is a must visit place!
