Another visit to the Spice Club whilst in Cumbria and had to make a reservation. Food was tasty and enjoyable but we were disappointed with the poppadoms as they had stood too long and were soft not crispy. We sent one back but the change was no better.I think they are well supported which leads them to lose standards so they have to be careful. I will be trying a competitor next time .i visit.

Firstly this review is 100% genuine and just my opinion.I have recently fine here and had the Cantonese crispy chicken with boiled rice. The meal was delicious although the portion size of the chicken was a little lean it was a lovely meal with nice boiled rice and a good size portion of rice. The restaurant service was very good and friendly and I would not hesitate to return.

We like it because you don't get a gravy filled tray of food to take away with you.It can be very busy so worth either phoning in an order or leaving plenty of time if your hungry.

We fancied a Chinese meal for tea and having passed this place earlier in the day and the the smells from the kitchen were lovely we ordered the sweet and sour chicken. A good sized portion, not too many pieces of veg in the sauce but plenty of chicken. The sauce was just on the edge of too vinegary for my taste but wouldnât put me off from ordering from here again.
