KoZak's Laketown Grill

Spouse and I had business in Smithville and stopped at KoZak's for lunch. Today's featured soup was French onion. It was really outstanding! Not salty, with lots of onions cooked just right, and very flavorful broth. I could have eaten two bowls! We also had the fried green onions -- also excellent. Two lunch-sized Ceasar salads rounded out our light lunch. We highly recommend KoZak's.

Excellent tasty BBQ as usual, takeout of pound of pulled pork, 1/2 pound burnt ends and pound of bacon potatoes was out in about 5 minutes. Downtown Smithville streets, sidewalks, etc. are under construction, looks like a big project. Plan to park on a side street and walk on gravel sidewalk for awhile.

Moved here less than a year ago, and had heard of this place from a few locals, so, I decided to try it out. This is a pretty busy place during the boating / camping season, as it is very near Smithville, Lake! They have gasoline, Ice, Bait, a small grocery store, a large variety of cold beverages and a nice little restaurant with an indoor seating area. Air conditioned during the hot Missouri summers! The location is actually in Paradise, Missouri and therefore their most popular menu item is a "Cheese Burger In Paradise". Everything is cooked after you order, nothing precooked like fast food restaurants. My order was prepared exactly as ordered and came to my table hot and delicious! Procedure for eat-in food service is: Order at food counter, then pay at cash register, then have a seat at one of the tables and your food will be delivered to your table. Very friendly, helpful staff! Great place to come in and grab what you need for a fun day on the lake or a lake camping experience!
