Shan State borders China to the north, Laos to the east, and Thailand to the south, and five administrative divisions of Burma in the west. Largest of the 14 administrative divisions by land area, Shan State covers 155,800 km², almost a quarter of the total area of Burma. The state gets its name from the Shan people, one of several ethnic groups that inhabit the area. Shan State is largely rural, with only three cities of significant size: Lashio, Kengtung, and the capital, Taunggyi. Taunggyi is 150.7 km north east of the nation's capital Naypyitaw.

We had plain hamburger at this joint and both of us were severely poisoned. The hamburgers were not fresh heavily spiced. I think the spices were added to conceal the not so fresh meat.

Very nice restaurant with a good choice of burmese and european meals. We just ate there, and we were very pleased. We all got the breaded and fried chicken strips and fries. They were cooked just right and very flavorful. Also, the sauces were great! I usually don't like ketchup in Asia, but the ketchup reminded me of the ketchup I eat in the US. Lastly, the owners were very friendly. I highly recommend Cozy chicken.

My partner and I loved the Garden! We have dinner there and it was great. The food is really nice, had some tortilla pizza (which is different to Italian pizza but it is really nice with lots of cheese and crunchy base) and a Greek style wrap that was super good! We also shared some hummus which they serve with some real olive oil and an apple pie that was mouth watering!There are very good vibes, the waiters are really friendly and professional. I loved the fact that they want to reduce plastic so have bamboo straws, organic take away containers and refillable water bottles.They have great coffee too! Real good Italian style coffee!It is very convenient as itâs next to the bus station. Good prices. Highly recommended!
