Novara [noˈvaːra] listen (help·info) (Nuàra in the local Lombard dialect) is the capital city of the province of Novara in the Piedmont region in northwest Italy, to the west of Milan. With 104 284 inhabitants (1-1-2017), it is the second most populous city in Piedmont after Turin. It is an important crossroads for commercial traffic along the routes from Milan to Turin and from Genoa to Switzerland. Novara lies between the rivers Agogna and Terdoppio in northeastern Piedmont, 50 kilometres (31 mi) from Milan and 95 kilometres (59 mi) from Turin.

Strange that an Irish Pub is rated No 1 on Trip Advisor ahead of Italian restaurants but The Clover is very good. The atmosphere is excellent and a great place to meet people when travelling alone. The Burgers are really tasty and the choice extensive. You can even have Venison or Horse Burgers with all sorts of trimmings.There is a great choice of beers on draught but no Italian beers which as a tourist i would appreciate. However this place is well worth a visit.

Been here with family and friends. In the center of novara small but cosy place. The waitress is very nice, always with a smile. We tried different dishes and all of them it was worth!! When u visit novara, you can't miss this place!!

Just close to the stadium, a cosy bar restaurant with an efficient and kind staff offers you a good selection of appetizers, tasty pizzas, main courses of meat (Piedmontese, Argentinian and Irish): you can't miss their juicy hamburgers with crispy potatoes and grilled vegetables!Delicious home made desserts conclude the meal.Service is quick even on the day of a football match: the place is crowded but it's not a problem at all!Reasonable prices.

We didn't even eat! The barmaid, who was also the waitress, was too busy eating her own food - behind the bar - to do anything more than put menus on our table. No greeting, no seating.This is a music pub, NOT a restaurant.The band was tuning up, not even practising. Noise without meaning. This is a playground for overgrown children, I will go back, alone, to give them a second chance. They certainly failed the first one.
